Slow Down, Re-Assess, and Move Forward
I am a licensed clinical social worker (#61987) and board approved clinical supervisor serving the Pearland community in private practice. My passion is helping survivors of trauma regain their sense of self by providing a safe, nonjudgmental space to heal and grow. The strength of the therapeutic relationship is a key factor in successful treatment outcomes. I strive to help clients feel as comfortable as possible by using a collaborative approach and trauma responsive care. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and draw from a number of evidence based treatment modalities.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Midwestern State University and obtained a masters of social work from the University of Houston. My background includes treating individuals in recovery, helping adults manage chronic mental illness, stabilizing adolescents in crisis, and working with women to overcome betrayal trauma in their relationships.
Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with family and friends, CrossFit, reading, cooking and traveling.
